About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team and support our core people processes. This role is vital in ensuring a positive employee experience for our Bulgarian employees and global contractors. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Administrator will collaborate closely with teams across the European region to facilitate smooth HR operations, timely support, and foster a people-first culture.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by helping others. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating recruitment activities, tracking PTO, and serving as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced startup environment, supporting various HR functions and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.

In this position, you will play a key role in streamlining HR processes, supporting policy updates, and contributing to employee recognition programs, all while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless experience for our employees and contractors worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in HR administration, People Operations, or Recruiting
  • Proficiency with HR and ATS tools such as Lever, Rippling, or Gusto (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bulgarian is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global startup environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and willing to assist colleagues across functions

Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting operations by scheduling interviews, updating ATS records, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage onboarding processes, including document collection, contract creation, and setup for new hires and contractors
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, offer letters, and employee records
  • Coordinate documents, spreadsheets, and logistics for various HR projects, including tracking PTO, holidays, and attendance
  • Respond to employee and contractor inquiries, escalating issues when necessary
  • Assist with performance review cycles by preparing templates, organizing feedback, and tracking completion status
  • Support policy creation, updates, and communication, including employee handbook revisions and process improvements
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and HR communications
  • Partner with payroll, accounting, and external vendors to ensure timely processing of payments and related follow-ups
  • Participate in broader HR initiatives, including process enhancements and employee experience projects
