Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Preferred: Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 4+ years of experience working with open source frameworks
- 1+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of experience practicing Agile methodologies
- Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development productivity
- Lead a team of developers and oversee a portfolio of technology projects focused on full stack and microservices architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions that adhere to regulatory standards and enhance user experience
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and experiment with new tools and frameworks to improve development processes
- Participate in code reviews, ensure best practices, and maintain high-quality code standards
- Utilize a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services to ensure reliability and scalability
- Contribute to strategic planning and technical decision-making for ongoing projects
