About The Role
The Lead Full Stack Engineer at Capital One Software is a critical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's marketing website. Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong proficiency in React and Next.js, including App Router, server components, and SSG/SSR strategies
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and responsive, accessible UI component development
- Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms and third-party APIs
- Experience working directly with marketing and design stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- At least 3 years of experience working with Contentful CMS or similar platforms
- Experience with design systems such as Figma and ShadCn UI is preferred
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain the company's marketing website leveraging React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS with a focus on performance and scalability
- Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI components ensuring high-quality visual standards
- Integrate website functionalities with third-party services including analytics, CMS, Marketo Forms, and A/B testing tools
- Establish and manage staging and production deployment processes to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Work with marketing stakeholders to interpret campaign and product objectives into technical implementations
- Optimize website performance by improving Core Web Vitals scores, adhering to SEO best practices, and enhancing web accessibility
- Govern and continuously improve development workflows, including branching strategies, release processes, and incident response protocols
