About The Role
The Augeo.NET Developer will play a vital role in designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions within the Augeo ecosystem. This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, including RESTful API development and full-stack applications utilizing .NET C# MVC. The developer will work with both Long-Term Support (LTS) versions of .NET Framework and .NET Core, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. An essential aspect of this role involves actively integrating AI coding assistants and agentic AI tools into the development workflow to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in .NET technologies, including C#, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, OAuth, and MVC.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and TypeScript.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Solid understanding of relational database systems such as SQL Server or MySQL.
- Willingness to learn and utilize AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock) and AI agent development is a plus.
- Two-year or four-year college degree from an accredited institution (preferred) or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with modern automation tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to agile development practices including code reviews, scrum ceremonies, and continuous integration/deployment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines effectively.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions based on programming requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement RESTful web services within the .NET framework.
- Analyze application performance and troubleshoot deficiencies through team collaboration and supervisor input.
- Document programming issues, resolutions, and lessons learned for future reference and process improvement.
- Leverage AI coding assistants daily to accelerate development, testing, and debugging processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows using AI agents and tools.
- Support code reviews, automated testing, and documentation generation utilizing AI-assisted tools.
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to automated error alerts and resolve production issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
