About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing and Web Manager to join our team. This strategic role involves leveraging digital channels to enhance AMS’s online presence, support its mission, and engage its community effectively. The Digital Marketing and Web Manager will serve as the primary leader for all AMS digital platforms, particularly amshq.org, ensuring these channels operate as high-performing tools for awareness, engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web platform management, digital advertising, content strategy, and user experience design. They will be responsible for overseeing website operations, managing digital campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing continuous improvements to optimize user engagement and organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking digital marketing professional to make a meaningful impact in the field of Montessori education through innovative digital strategies and community-focused storytelling.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management, analytics, and paid advertising
- Hands-on experience managing WordPress websites, including updates, optimizations, and collaboration with external web agencies
- Proficiency with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads (including Google Ad Grants), Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools like HubSpot or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies, including keyword optimization and technical SEO
- Proven ability to analyze data using GA4 and other analytics tools, translating insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in nonprofit marketing environments preferred
- Interest or knowledge of Montessori education is a plus

Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain AMS’s primary website (amshq.org), ensuring accessibility, usability, and high conversion rates for key actions such as memberships and event registrations
- Develop and implement website content strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts, adhering to UX/UI best practices
- Manage associated AMS digital platforms including AMS Learning (Elevate), AMS Connect (Higher Logic), AMS Jobs Board (JobBoardHQ), and Events (Cvent), evaluating and improving their functionality
- Align web content and advertising messaging with AMS’s broader organizational goals and initiatives
- Provide guidance on SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices to optimize content visibility and engagement
- Research emerging digital tools, platforms, and creative mediums, including AI, to enhance web performance and engagement strategies
- Identify opportunities for content development, perform keyword and competitor research, and implement website enhancements
- Establish and enforce website governance policies, including publication workflows, content review schedules, and role permissions
- Design, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms, continuously improving performance through A/B testing
- Utilize GA4 and other analytics tools to monitor campaign and website performance, generating reports to inform strategic decisions
- Analyze digital performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance user experience and engagement
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure a cohesive and scalable digital ecosystem
- Lead efforts to improve website functionality, navigation, and overall user experience based on data insights and user feedback
