About The Role
As a Staff Analyst in Product Analytics at Hims & Hers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience through advanced experimental design and hypothesis testing. Your expertise will enable the company to develop data-driven strategies that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, growth leads, designers, and engineers—you will lead efforts to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments. Your insights will influence product development roadmaps and strategic decisions, ensuring that features and initiatives are backed by robust data analysis. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Product Analytics, you will also be responsible for developing dashboards, KPIs, and measurement frameworks that democratize data access and foster a culture of data literacy across the organization. Your role is critical in identifying causal relationships, segmenting users, and providing actionable recommendations that drive business growth and improve health outcomes for users.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests in a product environment
- Experience working with subscription-based business models and associated metrics
- Extensive experience collaborating with data engineering teams and managing production data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, experimental design, and statistical inference
- Expertise in SQL and advanced data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SAS, or R
- Experience developing and deploying predictive models
- Ability to communicate complex technical analyses to non-technical stakeholders, including executives
- Proven track record in shaping product strategy through data insights
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage long-term projects independently
- Provide strategic thought leadership and collaborate with product stakeholders to influence product roadmaps through data-driven insights
- Lead the experimentation strategy, including test design, success metrics, sample size estimation, and results interpretation
- Define tracking requirements, ensure data integrity, and oversee analytics instrumentation across products
- Create intuitive dashboards in Looker to democratize data and enhance data self-service capabilities
- Develop and maintain KPI frameworks and measurement plans for new features and initiatives
- Champion data quality, documentation, and consistency of deliverables, mentoring junior analysts as needed
- Identify causal relationships using advanced statistical modeling, quasi-experimental methods, and predictive analytics
- Segment users based on behavioral, demographic, and psychographic data to personalize product experiences and communications
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer strategic business questions, quantify opportunities, and recommend actionable insights
