About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary AI Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced multi-agent AI systems within our modern platform. This role involves owning the architecture for core capabilities such as real-time voice translation, voice-based assessments, and call quality audits that enable teams to respond swiftly and adhere to proper procedures. The successful candidate will drive innovation in Document AI and Virtual Investigator solutions to accelerate data intake, surface risks early, and provide clear, explainable answers to complex investigative questions. Additionally, the role encompasses leveraging real-time ML and graph analytics to detect emerging fraud hotspots, uncover collusive networks, and prevent improper payments. You will set technical standards for orchestration and governance on Azure, mentor a globally distributed engineering team, and influence the technical direction across multiple product lines. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful, high-stakes projects that define how agentic AI operates at scale, with a focus on deep ownership, innovation, and excellence in engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in building production software, including at least 3+ years as a technical lead for AI or ML product development.
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience with Python, including hands-on use of ML or NLP libraries such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, or scikit-learn, and deploying models or pipelines to production.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and operating Spring Boot microservices in a production environment, with expertise in API design, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and incident management.
  • Proven experience shipping at least one LLM-based system that utilizes tool calling or function calling to interact with external services or enterprise APIs, with established evaluation and monitoring protocols.
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and semantic search solutions using vector search, embeddings, and external knowledge sources such as Azure Cognitive Search.
  • Hands-on experience deploying production workloads on Azure, utilizing services like Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Cognitive Search, and Cosmos DB, with a focus on security, observability, and cost optimization.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and continuous evolution of multi-agent AI platforms that enable reasoning, planning, and interaction with external tools via large language models (LLMs) and modular service layers.
  • Define and uphold standards, best practices, and a clear technical vision for AI orchestration across various product lines, including voice agents, fraud detection systems, and agentic workflows.
  • Guide the adoption and integration of frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, and Semantic Kernel, and incorporate emerging protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance tool and agent interoperability.
  • Design innovative agentic user experiences that allow LLMs to serve as intelligent interfaces to enterprise tools and APIs, improving usability and functionality.
  • Architect comprehensive voice AI pipelines, covering automatic speech recognition (ASR), multi-turn dialogue management, text-to-speech (TTS), and telephony integrations using SIP, Twilio, and other platforms.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models for fraud detection and anomaly identification, emphasizing scalability, explainability, and real-time responsiveness.
  • Lead cloud-native deployment of AI/ML systems leveraging Azure services, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams across multiple locations, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure timely, high-quality technical delivery.
  • Establish and enforce standards for AI governance, MLOps, including experimentation, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and model lifecycle management.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $145,500 to $249,500 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Incentive and recognition programs that reward outstanding performance.
  • Equity stock purchase options and 401(k) retirement plan contributions.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options within the U.S.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development through challenging projects and ongoing learning.
