Senior Data Analyst

Overview

The Senior Data Analyst at Sun Life is a unique opportunity to work alongside experts in data science, engineering, and analytics. You will be a critical part of a team supporting Sun Life Canada’s individual insurance business with innovative business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate workshops to gather user needs and test BI dashboard designs.
• Create compelling dashboard designs with sketches, wireframes, and final iterations.
• Develop metrics and KPIs for analytical and data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Distribution, Pricing, Operations, and IT.
• Assist in migrating BI and Insights data foundation to the Enterprise Data Lake Project.
• Deliver end-user training and provide technical support as required.
• Perform voice of customer feedback analysis to improve solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years in data analytics focused on business intelligence.
• 3+ years specializing in data visualization and dashboard design.
• Experience with Tableau (minimum 2 years) and SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Insurance or financial service experience is a plus.
• Eligibility for Canadian Reliability Security Clearance is required.
