About the Role
This role combines technical expertise with people leadership to foster innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365, and other IT platforms. You will mentor a team, drive digital transformation, and ensure that engineering solutions meet quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop M365 Productivity Engineers.
- Strategic Oversight: Align objectives with enterprise technology strategies and drive digital transformation.
- Project & Program Management: Manage engineering initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize service performance, compliance, and incident management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison, translating technical capabilities into business value.
Qualifications & Experience
A university degree or college diploma in a related field, along with 10+ years in IT, is required. You should have extensive technical experience and at least 3 years of leadership managing a team of 8+ resources. Experience in Microsoft 365 and related technologies is essential.

Additional Information
This position requires Government of Canada Reliability Status, background checks, and compliance with Sun Life’s policies. The Base Pay range is based on location and other factors, with participation in incentive plans.
