About the Role
This position is a strategic leadership role that combines technical expertise with people management. You will mentor a high-performing team of engineers to deliver world-class productivity and collaboration solutions while aligning initiatives with Sun Life’s global technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and coach a team of M365 Productivity Engineers, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
- Strategic Oversight: Align team objectives with enterprise technology strategies and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Project & Program Management: Prioritize engineering initiatives and work with cross-functional teams on projects involving AI, Cloud Systems, and more.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize service delivery and document processes to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal IT teams to translate technical capabilities into business value.
Qualifications
A university degree or college diploma, 10+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in leadership, are required. Strong technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Windows Desktop, and other IT platforms is essential, along with deep knowledge of networking, server, virtualization, and security concepts.

Additional Information
This role requires obtaining a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance and passing background checks. Compensation includes a competitive base pay along with incentive plans in alignment with individual and company performance.
