About the Product Marketing Team Lead Role

As a Product Marketing Team Lead at Sumsub, you will be instrumental in defining the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our flagship products. This role involves leading a high-impact team, collaborating closely with Product and GTM leaders, and playing a pivotal role in driving commercial success and market leadership for Sumsub.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead a Product Marketing Unit of three focused on Sumsub’s flagship products, including User Verification and Business Verification, emphasizing people management, strategic leadership, and external evangelism.
  • Develop and evolve positioning and messaging for the Sumsub Platform within your assigned product portfolio, aligning with the broader Product Marketing strategy.
  • Serve as the primary external spokesperson and evangelist for the Sumsub Platform, representing the company at key industry events, webinars, podcasts, and other public forums.
  • Drive initiatives supporting revenue growth across the product portfolio by setting clear team priorities and partnering effectively with Product and GTM functions on execution.
  • Ensure consistent product narratives across all customer touchpoints through alignment with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Guide market, customer, and competitive research efforts within the team, ensuring insights directly inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market direction.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches within the portfolio, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring alignment with broader Product Marketing priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing Director and peer Product Marketing Lead for alignment, knowledge sharing, and cohesive external messaging.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong background in Product Marketing and proven collaboration with Product and GTM teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a Product Marketing team, including setting strategic direction, prioritizing work, and fostering team member development.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility, influence decision-making, and inspire Sales and other GTM teams.
  • Extensive public speaking experience, including representing products or platforms at industry events, conferences, webinars, and other external forums.
  • Hands-on experience defining go-to-market strategies for new and evolving products, encompassing positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
  • Experience shaping and guiding marketing strategies and integrated campaigns, working through teams and cross-functional partners rather than day-to-day execution.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of interpreting data, market insights, and customer feedback to inform decisions and priorities.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences, from technical stakeholders to external buyers.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, competitive environment, demonstrating sound judgment, accountability, and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
