Operational Security Engineer

Overview

Sumsub is a leading full-cycle verification platform that enables scalable compliance globally. The Operational Security Engineer will run and continuously improve day-to-day security operations.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to security alerts
• Handle phishing reports and simulations
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with engineering teams
• Own and maintain SOC playbooks and response templates
• Manage employee security requests via email, Slack, and tickets
• Ensure clear ownership and escalation of alerts
• Reduce alert noise and operational friction
• Onboard and enable new SOC analysts

About You

You have incident response or SOC experience, strong skills in phishing detection and vulnerability triage, familiarity with ticketing systems, and clear communication abilities. You work calmly with non-security personnel.

Nice to Have

• Experience improving SOC workflows
• Familiarity with SIEMs like Splunk
• Basic scripting or automation skills
• Exposure to compliance or audit support
