Civil Area Construction Manager - Aviation
STV is seeking an experienced Civil Area Construction Manager - Aviation to join our national aviation team. This position will support one of our aviation clients in the Dallas, TX area.
Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for projects. You will be responsible for organizing cross-functional activities, managing project deliverables, schedules, and budgets from initiation through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate cross-functional activities for project completion, including deliverables, schedule, and budget.
- Manage and direct proposals, project initiation, execution, control, and closeout for planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design, and/or construction projects.
- Responsible for project budgets, extra work requests, and invoicing.
- Participate in or lead project-specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations.
- Plan complete project execution and develop the project manual.
- Schedule and monitor manpower requirements against project budget and spending performance.
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline requirements, resources, procurement, and risk elements.
- Establish contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project progress and budget.
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, including manpower development and updates.
- Form and lead project work teams to coordinate task assignment and execution.
- Submit documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and permit applications.
- Hold project progress meetings to ensure contract terms, conditions, and specifications are met.
- Ensure project personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Recognize and address manpower, equipment, materials, and quality issues for timely intervention and resolution.
- May select, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range: $164,279.49 - $187,747.98
