Overview
Stumptown Coffee Roasters is a progressive coffee company committed to quality and community. As a Shipping Lead ECommerce, you will be an integral part of our operations team responsible for e-commerce shipping and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and execute packing and fulfillment for all online orders including coffee subscriptions.
- Collaborate and delegate tasks to production techs ensuring proper labeling and timely dispatch.
- Coordinate with USPS and UPS for order pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory for shipping supplies and e-commerce collateral with the Logistics team.
- Utilize NetSuite and Google Sheets to track orders and anticipate future volume.
- Keep the shipping area organized and manage tasks according to priority.
- Handle shipping deadlines and emergencies with calm and efficiency.
- Incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve packaging processes.
- Work a flexible schedule during holidays with potential overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum one-year experience in a shipping or similar environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Passion for coffee and the mission of quality excellence.
- Experience with Google Docs, Ship Manager, and familiarity with ERP systems like D365 is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This job involves lifting up to 50 pounds (with help for heavier lifts), extensive standing, repetitive motions, and working in a warehouse setting with variable noise and temperatures.
