We are a college and career access organization dedicated to promoting educational equity and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support. We offer various college access courses at no cost to students, achieved through partnerships with schools and outreach programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide tutoring support for Biology Regents curriculum to 11th & 12th-grade students.
  • Offer tutoring to both small and large groups.
  • Utilize provided class assignment information to tailor support.
  • Adapt to new teaching materials and strategies effectively.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
  • Collaborate with the Education team for comprehensive student learning strategies.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a completed 4-year degree.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
  • Must be available for in-person tutoring.
  • Scheduled hours are Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM EST.
