Part-Time Biology Regents Tutor
Study Smart Tutors is seeking a passionate Part-Time Biology Regents Tutor to join our team. We are a college and career access organization dedicated to promoting educational equity and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support. We offer various college access courses at no cost to students, achieved through partnerships with schools and outreach programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring support for Biology Regents curriculum to 11th & 12th-grade students.
- Offer tutoring to both small and large groups.
- Utilize provided class assignment information to tailor support.
- Adapt to new teaching materials and strategies effectively.
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
- Collaborate with the Education team for comprehensive student learning strategies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a completed 4-year degree.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
- Must be available for in-person tutoring.
- Scheduled hours are Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM EST.
- Must complete and pass a background check (may include fingerprinting).
