Study Smart Tutors is seeking a passionate Part-Time Biology Regents Tutor to join our team. We are a college and career access organization dedicated to promoting educational equity and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support. We offer various college access courses at no cost to students, achieved through partnerships with schools and outreach programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support for Biology Regents curriculum to 11th & 12th-grade students.
• Offer tutoring to both small and large groups.
• Utilize provided class assignment information to tailor support.
• Adapt to new teaching materials and strategies effectively.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Collaborate with the Education team for comprehensive student learning strategies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Must be available for in-person tutoring.
• Scheduled hours are Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM EST.
• Must complete and pass a background check (may include fingerprinting).

Salary And Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $50 per hour.
• Paid Onboarding/Training/Preparation/Support at $22.00 per hour.
