Interior Designer - All Levels
Studio Paolo Ferrari is a globally recognized, multidisciplinary design practice working across luxury hospitality, residential, and retail environments. Our work is driven by a commitment to design excellence, material exploration, and the creation of immersive spatial experiences for leading international clients. As our global portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking talented Interior Designers at multiple levels to join our Toronto studio. You will contribute to ambitious international projects while growing within a highly collaborative and design-driven environment. We have an exciting pipeline of new projects spanning luxury hotels, resorts, retail, and F&B on a global stage. This is an opportunity to grow your skills and expand your experience within a dynamic studio where creativity and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. We are expanding our studio and are looking for strong design talent across all experience levels. Open roles include:
Junior Interior Designer
- 1–5 years of relevant experience with a degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Contributes to a collaborative studio culture while actively developing technical skills and design knowledge through mentorship.
- Conducts design research, assists with material sourcing, and supports iterative design exploration.
- Supports concept development, presentations, drawing packages, and documentation across all project phases.
- Assists with project coordination, vendor communication, and maintaining accurate drawings and documentation under senior guidance.
Intermediate Interior Designer
- 4–8 years of relevant experience with a degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Supports studio design standards, contributes to design discussions, and begins mentoring junior designers while strengthening leadership skills.
- Drives material research, FF&E selection, and design exploration while actively contributing ideas that advance the project vision.
- Leads design development, space planning, presentations, and drawing packages with increasing independence and ownership of assigned scope.
- Coordinates with internal teams, consultants, and vendors while managing schedules, documentation, and technical drawing accuracy.
Senior Designer
- 7–12 years of relevant experience with a degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Supports client presentations and consultant coordination while upholding studio design standards and contributing to design culture.
- Mentors junior and intermediate designers while supporting project workflow, coordination, and delivery with the Project Lead.
- Oversees drawing packages, specifications, and consultant coordination to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with design intent.
- Leads key project components from concept through documentation while contributing to overall design vision, spatial planning, and material strategies.
Project Lead
- 11+ years of relevant experience with a degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Serves as primary point of contact for clients and consultants, leading meetings, presentations and coordination to ensure clear communication and project progress
- Strong experience managing complex projects, consultant teams, and client relationships while upholding studio design standards and contributing to design culture.
- Directs and mentors project team members, delegates work effectively, and ensure team performance meets project timelines and quality expectations
- Oversees drawing packages, specifications, and consultant coordination to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with design intent.
- Leads key project components from concept through documentation, managing scope, schedules, resources, and overall project delivery while ensuring alignment with design vision.
