Senior Marketing Manager AI and Digital

This role will develop the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for JR’s AI and Digital portfolio, drive marketing excellence, and partner closely with R&D to steer the product roadmap aligned with our JR and Enterprise priorities. It’s a strategic position designed to align innovation, commercialization, and execution for maximum impact.

Opportunity

This is an opportunity to shape the future of Smart Robotics. The ideal candidate will own the GTM strategy for JR’s AI and Digital portfolio by launching, positioning, and scaling innovations at the intersection of data, care, and technology. The role involves deep collaboration with R&D to guide product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with digital strategies and redefining possibilities in the operating room and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution for AI and digital solutions, using competitive intelligence and market trends.
  • Monitor market activity and tailor strategies to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Build relationships with KOLs and convert insights into product requirements and narratives.
  • Author key strategy documents including annual marketing plans and product launch plans.
  • Drive segmentation, positioning strategies, and development of clear targeting and messaging.
  • Partner with R&D, clinical, and commercial teams to shape product roadmaps and innovation pipelines.
  • Lead commercialization planning including launch excellence, sales enablement, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction to the sales organization with training and playbooks.
  • Define and track KPIs, conduct post-launch analysis, and guide market adjustments.
  • Oversee multi-channel strategies and expand reach through digital platforms and developer communities.
  • Ensure customer responsiveness by leveraging feedback to improve product usability.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and embed the voice of the customer throughout decision making.
  • Build thought leadership around AI, digital, and data innovation in medtech.

Requirements

Required: 10+ years experience, strong business acumen, proven GTM strategy ability, partnering with R&D, and a deep understanding of the surgical space/robotics.

Preferred: 7+ years in medtech, digital health, or AI-enabled products; familiarity with enterprise health tech, SaaS, connected care ecosystems; commercialization experience in AI, analytics, or clinical decision support tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $129,600 - $286,500 plus bonus eligibility. Benefits include comprehensive health, financial, and wellness programs.
