About the Role: Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement - Facilities

As the Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement - Facilities at Stryker, you will be instrumental in executing the global indirect procurement strategy for Facilities, collaborating closely with regional indirect category leaders and key stakeholders. You will serve as the primary procurement partner to the corporate Director of Global Facility Management, with the flexibility to work 100% virtually within the U.S. without any specific territory or proximity requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director of Global Facility Management and divisional facilities leaders to design and execute a comprehensive global sourcing strategy for facilities-related expenditures.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing for over $200M in annual facilities spend across Corporate and Commercial divisions, encompassing supplier identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, contracting, and performance management.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders to realize significant indirect procurement savings, optimize payment terms, and drive enterprise-wide value for Stryker.
  • Deliver consistent year-over-year net procurement savings, directly supporting business strategic initiatives and global category strategies.
  • Lead complex negotiations for high-impact facilities agreements, skillfully balancing cost efficiency, service quality, risk mitigation, and the cultivation of long-term partnership value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate, Facilities, Security, Finance, and Legal teams to establish robust contracts that effectively mitigate commercial, data, and supply chain risks while meeting critical operational needs.
  • Provide strategic leadership for crucial supplier relationships, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain deep market insight into indirect suppliers, various pricing models, and industry trends to implement procurement best practices and elevate service delivery across Stryker's multiple locations.

What You Need:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 10 years of relevant procurement working experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years in a medium-large strategic procurement organization or equivalent experience (or through extensive client work at a top-tier management consultancy).
  • Sourcing/Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, Certified Professional in Supply Management).
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, robust financial and business acumen, and the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated experience in procuring and negotiating complex service agreements.

Compensation & Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $118,000 to $255,700, plus eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
