About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, Global Privacy Program, you will serve as a vital member of Stryker's Global Privacy Operations team. This role demands collaboration within a cross-functional environment to bolster the global privacy program and its foundational processes, working closely with other team members and privacy counsel. Under the guidance of the Program Lead and in partnership with legal counsel, you will navigate privacy, compliance, and security frameworks, alongside administrative regulations and company policies, to ensure internal stakeholders adhere to privacy requirements and respond effectively to program-related requests.
This is a remote position within the U.S., requiring work to align with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
What You Will Do
- Work with program leads and counsel to support the receipt, management, and appropriate response to inquiries regarding privacy practices from various stakeholders, including government and regulatory agencies, customers, patients, and employees.
- Support the execution of requirements with global and regional authorities and regulators, encompassing filings, registrations, and appointments.
- Conduct and review Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA), ensuring strict alignment with the global privacy DPIA directive and established risk assessment requirements.
- Assist with the review, assessment, and response to individual rights requests, meticulously tracking metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for comprehensive reporting.
- Support ongoing auditing and monitoring activities, coordinating closely with relevant functions such such as Internal Audit, Compliance, IT Security, and Legal.
- Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset, proposing strategic enhancements to the privacy program informed by evolving business needs, industry trends, and best practices.
- Exercise excellent judgment in promptly identifying and escalating critical issues to management and/or for legal review.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Stryker’s product lines, competitive landscape, and customer base to effectively support functional initiatives and offer informed recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and track the status of privacy requests and assessments, proactively providing timely updates as needed.
- Identify system or process improvements that can boost efficiency, strengthen compliance, or reduce operational costs for the business.
What You Will Need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated privacy experience
Preferred:
- Privacy/data protection certification (e.g., IAPP, CIPP-US, CIPP-E, CIPM)
- Experience in building privacy compliance operational programs
- Experience with Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) and Data Subject Rights (DSR) programs
- Experience working within large organizations
- Experience in healthcare organizations
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, OneTrust, or similar privacy management tools
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience managing cookie governance
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting Stryker’s culture of integrity and compliance
- Experience supporting high-volume or complex work in a timely and thorough manner with minimal rework
This role offers a base salary range of $69,500 – $144,200, plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
