About the Role: Lead Indirect Procurement Analyst
As a Lead Indirect Procurement Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing Stryker's real estate, facilities, and security spend. This remote position involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier partnerships to drive significant cost efficiencies and ensure service excellence across a wide range of categories. You will collaborate closely with functional leaders and make a substantial impact through innovative procurement strategies. This role offers the flexibility of working 100% virtually within the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and Analyze Data: Perform comprehensive spend analysis to identify strategic opportunities and inform decision-making processes.
- Conduct Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and supplier landscapes to enhance sourcing and supplier strategies.
- Lead RFx Processes: Manage end-to-end go-to-market activities, including Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs), to identify and select optimal suppliers.
- Negotiate Contracts: Develop and execute advanced negotiation strategies to secure favorable commercial terms and robust agreements.
- Implement and Improve: Oversee the successful implementation of new contracts and drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to enhance performance, foster innovation, and ensure long-term value.
- Develop Sourcing Strategies: Partner with cross-functional teams to create and implement best-in-class sourcing strategies for various suppliers and commodities, including construction, facilities management, real estate, occupancy planning, security, and more.
- Ensure Cost Efficiency: Establish, monitor, and report on cost standards to effectively support annual operating budgets and achieve financial objectives.
What You Need (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in supply management, business, finance, engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year specifically in supply management, focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier development. Preference for experience within a Fortune 500 procurement organization or equivalent.
- Proven experience in developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including complex supply and service agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, achieving business objectives and delivering measurable results.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading and executing complex initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Subject matter expert-level experience in multiple direct or indirect procurement categories.
- Strong understanding of procurement and strategic commodity management principles.
Compensation and Benefits:
Stryker offers a competitive salary range of $77,700 - $168,400, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
