About The Team
The Onboarding and ComplianceStrategy organization builds policies and programs to ensure trust among users, regulators, and partners while enabling business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and drive onboarding and compliance standards for strategic initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Policy, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
- Assess current risk performance and develop long-term strategic plans.
- Represent Stripe in external engagements with key partners and customers.
- Continuously optimize user onboarding while balancing risk and user experience.
- Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as priorities evolve.
Who You Are
We require a minimum of 6+ years of professional experience, strong experience in risk, compliance or product enablement, and the ability to simplify complex compliance challenges. Exceptional collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivering risk standards and controls designs.
- Able to transform complex issues into actionable next steps.
- Familiarity with merchant acquiring rules, KYC/KYB, AML, or OFAC compliance.
Work Arrangement
This role offers hybrid flexibility. Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in a local Stripe office, while remote workers must be 35+ miles from an office.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for the primary location is CA$139,300 - CA$208,900. Compensation details may vary based on location and experience. Benefits include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
