About The Transaction Fraud Team
The Fraud Risk Team at Stripe minimizes financial losses by fraud. The Transaction Fraud Team builds and implements strategies to reduce risk while ensuring a positive user experience.
What You’ll Do
In the role of Transaction Fraud Strategy Analyst, you will prevent, detect, and mitigate transaction fraud. You will work on ensuring safer payments and managing payment risks by:
- Monitoring transactions and portfolio risk.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and others.
- Evaluating products for risk gaps and proposing controls.
- Scaling risk processes and designing manual workflows.
- Educating Stripe users about potential risks.
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of experience with strong analytical and SQL skills. You are curious, decisive, and capable of working cross-functionally. Excellent communication and ability to balance risk control with user experience are key.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python, R, payments, and trust & safety. Familiarity with machine learning and start-up environments is advantageous.
Work Arrangement & Compensation
This role is hybrid: working in an office or remotely (35+ miles from a Stripe office). In-office employees spend at least 50% of their time in a designated office. The annual US base salary ranges from $121,600 to $182,400 along with additional benefits such as equity, bonus, 401(k), and health benefits.
