About The Team

The Stripe Security team is dedicated to improving the security of Stripe and its users. The Security Partnerships team works to design secure-by-design products by collaborating with product teams and the security engineering organization. The team focuses on early-stage design reviews, threat modeling, automation, security guidance, training, and championing security initiatives while building AI-driven self-service offerings.

What You’ll Do

As a Staff Security Engineer, Security Partnerships, you will work closely with engineering teams to design secure-by-default solutions. You will be a security subject matter expert, lead threat modeling discussions, enable teams with automation and security guidance, drive cross-team security initiatives, and mentor colleagues.

Who You Are

You bring over 8 years of security experience, excellent communication and collaboration skills, creative problem solving, and a strong ability to secure applications in a cloud environment. You understand attacker tactics, develop threat models, and scale security efforts via design, abstraction, and education.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in software engineering in production environments, mobile security, multiple Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cryptocurrency technologies, and M&A integration are a plus.

Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid and available in an office or remote location (35+ miles from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office, while remote workers regularly work from home.

Pay and Benefits

The US annual base salary range is $203,600 - $305,400. Additional benefits include equity, bonuses, a 401(k) plan, comprehensive medical benefits, and wellness stipends. Applicants outside the US may inquire about location-specific salary ranges during the interview process.
