About Bridge
Bridge is creating a new payments platform with stablecoins to simplify global money movement. The platform offers faster, cheaper cross-border payments, virtual US dollar accounts, and global payouts infrastructure.
About the Role
As one of the first blockchain engineers at Bridge, you will work on projects that are global in scale. You will have strong autonomy on greenfield projects and the opportunity to build products that provide new access for customers.
Responsibilities
- Build multi-chain hot wallet infrastructure for improved payment reliability.
- Develop smart contracts to boost hot wallet payment throughput.
- Create platforms for issuing custom stablecoins across blockchains like EVM, Solana, and Stellar.
- Implement smart contract monitoring systems to detect anomalies.
- Design blockchain applications and protocols to support stablecoin transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements.
- Ensure security and efficiency in smart contracts with rigorous testing.
- Optimize blockchain performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with latest blockchain technology developments.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and contribute to architecture design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience, with various levels considered.
- Proficiency in blockchain platforms including Ethereum, Solana, and others.
- Experience in smart contract development using Solidity or similar languages.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain protocols.
- Background in decentralized finance (DeFi) and stablecoins preferred.
- Familiarity with blockchain security best practices.
- Strong ownership with the ability to guide product design.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
In-office Expectations
Staff are expected to spend a designated time in the local office. Requirements vary by location and team, with some roles requiring up to 100% in-office attendance.
Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $190,400 to $285,600. Additional benefits include equity, bonuses, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and wellness stipends.
