About The Team
Stripe focuses on Enterprise and large Digital Native customers who require highly qualified personnel for product and service deployment. The Professional Services team provides implementation consultants and engineers, while offering strategic and operational support across strategy, planning, operations, analytics, and insights. The Professional Services Strategy & Operations team drives business changes related to tooling, processes, and policies, aiming for incremental productivity improvements to enhance service delivery and Stripe's revenue. This global team includes business partners and technical resources managing tools, data, and operational activities. As a member of this team, you will significantly enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the Professional Services organization, collaborating closely with senior leadership and sales to analyze core business performance and spearhead strategic initiatives, impacting customer adoption and integration of Stripe's capabilities.
What you’ll do
You will partner closely with the Professional Services leadership team and regional leaders to support delivery and sales teams. This involves owning the in-depth monitoring and tracking of business metrics, creating key intelligence and insights to accelerate growth and activation. You will also collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Finance & Strategy, Data Science, Seller Systems, and Strategic Operations to streamline internal processes and optimize run-the-business and planning deliverables (Stripe Rhythm of Business: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews). Your role will help shape processes and the go-to-market support model for a rapidly growing company, making a tangible impact on sales and operations.
Responsibilities
- Support regional professional services leaders with intelligence and insights to accelerate growth.
- Support Sales Strategy and Operations colleagues by standardizing global and regional common processes.
- Create end-to-end dashboards to deep dive into key performance metrics and drive understanding of business performance.
- Problem-solve and structure analysis outcomes for complex sales operations challenges through data, analytics, and insight.
- Identify new opportunities and areas for productivity efficiency gains for Regional sales leadership.
- Participate in projects defining go-to-market approaches, as well as in regular business and resource planning.
- Run analysis on key performance metrics, providing relevant insights for managing the business.
- Oversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teams.
- Prepare weekly senior leader forecast materials and provide ongoing updates on key business growth/metrics to leadership teams.
- Manage bespoke projects and effectively manage stakeholders.
Who you are (Minimum Requirements)
We are looking for someone who meets the following minimum requirements:
- 7+ years of sales, strategy, and operations experience in a high-tech growth environment, or operational experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or business insights/analytics roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and other advanced analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Plotly, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Executive presence and ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems.
- Experience working with data and large data sets to identify trends, create insights, and make recommendations to senior leaders.
- Understanding of professional services operations (resource management, capacity planning, time capture, billing/invoicing, engagement lifecycle).
- Familiarity with financial modeling for services (project P&L, utilization, revenue recognition, etc.).
- An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
- Works well with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the payments industry.
- Experience with Certinia.
In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team, and location.
Pay and benefits
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €97,900 - €146,900. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
