About The Team

The Payments Intelligence organization at Stripe optimizes billions of transactions annually, maximizing successful transactions and minimizing payment costs and fraud. We own products like Radar, Authorization Boost, and Disputes, building fast, scalable services and intuitive user experiences. We leverage ML for real-time predictions and optimal business management.

What You'll Do as Product Lead, AI

As a Product Lead, AI on the Payments Intelligence team, you will be responsible for scoping, designing, and building intuitive features that help users maximize revenue while minimizing costs, all while shaping our intelligence platform. This role involves partnering with various functions across Stripe, working on both infrastructure/platform systems and directly impacting user-facing business.

Day-to-day, you'll collaborate closely with engineers and data scientists, as well as peers in Design, Product Marketing, and Partnerships to craft the vision for Payments Intelligence products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Payments Intelligence products, setting priorities and creating an execution roadmap.
  • Deeply understand user needs through engagement with developers, sales, and support, analyzing feedback, market trends, and data.
  • Build and launch new capabilities and products that deliver significant value to customers.
  • Set the pace, prioritization, and execution for your team.
  • Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve technical and product problems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations.
  • Build and coach your team on best practices for defining product requirements and delivering against the roadmap.

Who You Are

We are seeking candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Product Management experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing Product Managers: 4+ years.
  • Strong business acumen: Enjoy analyzing business operations to identify improvements and build product/technical solutions.
  • Customer and Partner facing experience: Comfortable interacting with customers or third-party collaborators and navigating conversations.
  • Operational savvy: Capable of designing and driving cross-functional teams and processes.
  • Analytical horsepower: Ability to dig deep into data, apply user-first principles, and deliver results.
  • Crisp communicator: High attention to detail in precise and effective communications, including with external customers/partners.
  • Results-oriented: Driven to execute complex projects effectively.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

This role supports either in-office or remote work (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

  • In-office expectations: Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of the month in their local office or with users, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility.
  • Working remotely at Stripe: Remote is defined as 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from an office. Regular work will be from home, with office visits for meetings. Relocation costs to a remote location are not covered.
