About The Payments Intelligence Team

The Payments Intelligence organization optimizes billions of transactions annually, maximizing successful payments while minimizing costs and fraud. We build fast, scalable services and intuitive user experiences for products like Radar, Authorization Boost, and Disputes. Our work involves serving real-time predictions within Stripe's payment infrastructure and architecting ML-driven controls to manage users' businesses optimally.

What You'll Do as a Product Lead, AI

As a Product Lead on the Payments Intelligence team, you will be instrumental in shaping our intelligence platform. Your role involves scoping, designing, and building intuitive features that empower users to maximize their revenue and minimize costs. You'll collaborate extensively across Stripe, engaging with both infrastructure/platform systems and directly impacting user-facing business outcomes.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with engineers and data scientists, partnering with Design, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and other teams to define the vision for our Payments Intelligence products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for Payments Intelligence products, including prioritization and roadmap creation.
• Gain a deep understanding of user needs through direct engagement with developers, sales, and support, and by analyzing market trends and data.
• Build and launch new capabilities and products that deliver significant customer value.
• Set the pace, prioritization, and execution standards for your team.
• Solve complex technical and product problems using a wide array of systems, processes, and technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations.
• Coach and mentor your team on best practices for defining product requirements and delivering against the roadmap.

Who You Are

We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a strong product management background and a passion for financial technology and artificial intelligence.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant Product Management experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing Product Managers.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify improvements and build effective product/technical solutions.
• Customer and Partner facing experience, comfortable navigating complex external conversations.
• Operational savvy, capable of designing and driving cross-functional teams and processes.
• Analytical horsepower, demonstrated by deep data analysis, user-first thinking, and impactful results.
• Crisp communication skills, with high attention to detail in internal and external interactions.
• Results-oriented approach, committed to executing complex projects to completion.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

This role supports either in-office or remote work (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of their time monthly in the local office or with users. Remote employees primarily work from home but are welcome for team/business meetings. Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote roles; apply for roles matching your current or planned location.

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $214,300 - $321,500, inclusive of various career levels. Final salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits include equity, company bonus, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and wellness stipends.
