What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Engineer Payments and Risk, you will work on developing software services and platforms impacting thousands of Stripe employees and millions of users. Responsibilities include:

  • Working with a variety of systems and technologies to solve problems end-to-end.
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver new features.
  • Upholding high engineering standards across multiple codebases.
  • Designing elegant APIs and user experiences for merchant success.
  • Contributing to the design and architecture of next generation infrastructure.

Who You Are

You are an experienced engineer with 2-12+ years of industry experience, capable of working across the stack and comfortable with various programming languages and tools. You possess strong collaboration skills, the ability to work autonomously, and an interest in tackling problems across different technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-growth teams and building financial systems or tools for financial experts is a bonus.

Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid, available either in an office or remote (35+ miles from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office, while remote workers should be located 35+ miles away from an office.

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range in the primary location is CA$135,200 - CA$258,000, with further details on benefits including equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends discussed during the interview process.
