About The Role

As an Engineering Manager for the Web Presence Platform Expansion team, you will blend technical expertise with a user-first mindset. You will coach and mentor a distributed team, ensuring technical excellence, fostering user engagement, and driving strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

You are a seasoned engineering manager with 2-4 years managing teams and 8+ years in software engineering. You bring a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, an emphasis on user adoption, and experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-4 years of direct engineering management experience and 8+ years in software engineering.
  • Proven experience managing distributed teams across NA and EMEA.
  • A history of building diverse teams and leading large technical projects.
  • Strong ability to build scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fintech or regulated industry experience.
  • Experience with data-driven experiments and growth hacking.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative remote work culture.
  • Familiarity with regional regulatory impacts on product development.

Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid, available in-office or remote (35+ miles from a Stripe office), with an expectation of at least 50% in-office time for office-assigned employees.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is CA$177,600 - CA$266,400, accompanied by equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends. Specifics may vary based on location and candidate experience.
