The User Compliance team sits at the critical intersection of Risk, Onboarding, and the diverse product teams at Stripe. Responsibilities- Work with Stripe leaders across the company to create and drive toward the vision of a simple and consistent Risk and Compliance experience
- Work with Product Managers to shape the product roadmap and enable the experiences that help solve user problems and keep them compliant
- Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team, and work with cross-functional dependencies across the company to meet the deliverables
- Own the technical roadmap for the team and support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence and stability
- Hire and develop the best engineers on your team
- Be a sponsor-coach for the team to learn and grow
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the Stripe engineering management team
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience with software development
- 8–10 years of overall experience with 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with people management responsibilities
- Experience building diverse teams to tackle challenging technical problems
- Experience thriving in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
Working remotely at Stripe
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. The annual US base salary range for this role is $214,600 - $321,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (OTE) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
