About The Team

The Data Science team at Stripe is a vibrant community of data analysts, data scientists, and engineers. As a Data Analyst at Stripe, you will have the opportunity to work with fundamental data that drives major company-wide initiatives.

What you'll do

You will partner with multiple teams to ensure that Stripe's users, products, and business benefit from robust data models, pipelines, dashboards, and reports. Responsibilities include:

• Extract insights from complex datasets
• Translate business needs into data problems
• Build metrics and scalable data pipelines
• Develop dashboards and reports to inform decisions
• Deliver actionable business recommendations through data storytelling

Who you are

The ideal candidate will have 2-8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or Data Science. You should be proficient in SQL and Python with strong statistical skills and a capability to communicate insights effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-8+ years experience in relevant data roles
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Strong statistical knowledge
• Expertise in data visualization and actionable insights
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Experience at a growth stage internet or software company
• Knowledge of distributed data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark
• Understanding of engineering best practices
• Note: This role is not eligible for hire in the Greater Seattle Area, Greater NYC Area, or San Francisco Bay Area

Work Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid work model: candidates may work in an office or remotely (if 35+ miles from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees are expected to work in-office at least 50% of the time monthly to facilitate collaboration.

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range is $146,900 - $220,300, potentially scalable based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits may include equity, bonuses, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and wellness stipends.
