What you’ll do as a Brand Marketing Lead
As a Brand Marketing Lead, you will spearhead high-visibility brand programs that boost awareness and preference for Stripe. You will transform market and audience insights into distinctive brand activations or multi-channel campaigns, manage agencies and media partners, and collaborate with regional teams for local relevance. A core part of your role will be to define success metrics, measure impact, and iterate strategies to maximize outcomes, all while inspiring and aligning internal cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & audience insight: Define clear marketing objectives and strategies anchored in Stripe’s brand metrics and business goals, informed by audience needs, trends, and competitive context.
- Influence & storytelling: Present strategy and results to senior stakeholders, advocate for bold creative choices, and elevate Stripe’s brand presence globally.
- Global integrated campaign leadership: Develop and execute cross-channel campaigns with potential international adaptation.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with demand, field marketing, product, creative, media, and comms to align on the business context, audience insight, key message, and best delivery approach.
- Agency & partner management: Own agency relationships, media vendors, and brand sponsorship partners to deliver standout activation plans and seamless execution.
- Measurement & optimization: Set KPIs for awareness and down-funnel outcomes; track performance, surface actionable insights, and optimize creative and channel mix accordingly.
- Autonomy & creative problem solving: Start work from a place of ambiguity, proactively clearing blockers for others and helping the broader team get to the end goal.

- Experienced cross-functional leader: Possess a strong brand or campaign marketing background with a track record of planning and running successful, breakthrough campaigns.
- Strategic thinker: Able to see the "big picture" and connect brand goals to Stripe’s broader mission.
- Audience-driven: Capable of transforming insights into compelling creative and strategic choices.
- Multi-channel expert: Deep expertise in brand channels like paid media (podcast, CTV, OOH, etc.) and paid partnerships, with proven ability to extend programs across owned and earned channels.
- Measurement-minded: Proficient in defining meaningful brand KPIs, analyzing performance, and driving iterative improvements.
- Collaborative communicator: Skilled at influencing cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Thrive in fast-growing environments and take ownership to move projects forward.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of brand or campaign marketing experience.
- Proven experience managing agencies and significant budgets.
- Demonstrated success partnering with teams across the globe.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience at a high-growth tech company (FinTech or SaaS preferred).
- Familiarity with a range of marketing measurement approaches, AI tools, and MarTech stacks.
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role supports either in-office or remote work (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of the month in their local office for collaboration, while remote employees primarily work from home, with travel for team meetings and events.
