What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive, Enterprise Existing Business, you will manage existing relationships and uncover new opportunities to expand Stripe’s footprint in current accounts. You will execute long-term sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align technical and business requirements with product teams, build competitive value propositions, lead negotiations, and close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term sales strategies with existing customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle from business case development to close.
  • Create account plans and drive cross-selling to strategic customers.
  • Lead deal strategy, complex commercial negotiations, and renewals.
  • Build and nurture executive relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct account mapping and coordinate effective stakeholder meetings.
  • Contribute to team projects, refine sales processes, and shape Stripe's sales culture.

Who You Are

You have extensive sales experience, particularly in selling technical products, and are adept at managing complex enterprise sales cycles. You are a skilled negotiator with strong presentation and communication abilities and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a deep interest in technology.

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years of sales experience in technical product sales.
  • 10+ years of leading complex sales cycles with enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and craft multi-product solutions.
  • Experience in developing and executing account plans across business units.
  • Proven track record of leading sophisticated negotiations and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Deep interest and understanding of technology trends.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or remote (35+ miles from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in their local office. Remote workers should apply for positions aligning with their current or planned residence.

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $281,900 - $509,800, including both base salary and sales commissions/bonuses. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonuses, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
