About The Team
The Product Sales team comprises highly specialized functional and technical experts who both lead and advise on critical deals for Stripe's most strategic products. Specifically, the OCS & Backend Payments Product Sales team focuses on driving revenue for products such as Radar, Multiprocessor, and LPMs. We are actively seeking an Account Executive, BNPL Products to spearhead sales initiatives for these crucial LPMs (Local Payment Methods), with a particular emphasis on Buy Now, Pay Later solutions.
What You'll Do as an Account Executive, BNPL Products
As an Account Executive focusing on BNPL Products, you will leverage your sales and product expertise to significantly boost the growth of these specific payment methods. Your role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams to cultivate profound product knowledge, which you will then apply to drive strategic deals. You will be instrumental in conducting in-depth product discussions with both existing and prospective customers, and in developing and executing our go-to-market strategy for BNPL solutions.
You are an accomplished salesperson, adept at navigating both business-level and technical conversations with various organizational levels, including C-level executives. You possess a strong track record of building value in competitive scenarios and thrive on working with products that demand deep product understanding combined with technical acumen. You are equally comfortable engaging with external clients and internal stakeholders. A passion for becoming a subject matter expert and sharing that knowledge is essential. You are an organized self-starter, an exceptional communicator, highly analytical, and consistently improve processes and organizations around you.
Who You Are (Minimum Requirements)
- 5+ years of sales experience at a leading technology company, demonstrating a track record of top performance.
- Proven ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with both internal and external business partners.
- Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-moving, unstructured environments.
- Demonstrated capacity to be a self-starter, capable of achieving business results with minimal supervision.
- An enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality, ready to tackle challenges directly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and impactful interactions.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly effective in in-person meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations, including those involving bespoke commercial agreements.
- Ability to understand intricate technical requirements and develop comprehensive solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
In-Office Expectations
Stripe expects office-assigned employees in most locations to spend at least 50% of their time each month in their local office or engaging with users. Specific requirements may vary by role, team, and location; for example, Bucharest, Romania has an 80% in-office expectation, and Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, and Bengaluru, India require 100% office presence. Some teams may also have higher in-office attendance needs to support user requirements and workflows, which will be communicated by the hiring manager. This hybrid approach balances in-person collaboration and learning with flexibility.
Pay and Benefits
The annual On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role in the primary location is €120,000 - €222,000, inclusive of sales commissions/bonuses and annual base salary. This range is subject to change based on hiring location and may encompass several career levels. The specific salary will be refined during the interview process, considering factors like experience, qualifications, and exact location. Applicants in other locations can inquire about their specific salary range during interviews.
