Overview

Join Strategic Solution Partners (SSP) as a Task Force Consultant in the role of Task Force - Hotel Banquet Pastry Sous Chef. This is a 100% travel, on-site assignment to provide temporary management support during hotel management vacancies, including hotel openings, management transitions, and property re-positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive, energetic and respectful work environment.
  • Provide temporary management support to avoid departmental disruptions.
  • Offer hands-on leadership for culinary operations including banquet and back-of-house.
  • Manage schedules, payroll, labor, food costs and vendor ordering.
  • Oversee meal periods ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Mentor staff and collaborate with culinary leaders and seasonal associates.
  • Support Dir. of F&B for special menus and work closely with the Sales Team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and health department regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of high-volume food production or catering experience.
  • Experience reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and costing menus.
  • Recent successful hotel experience with a minimum of 5 years in similar roles.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time and adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
  • Strong management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the US.
