SGP Recruiting provides operations and strategic support to Tribal 8(a) and commercial organizations. Our client is an ISO-certified international IT consulting and Engineering Services company supporting both public and private sector customers with challenging IT and business solutions.

Job Overview

This Full Stack Developer role supports an upcoming NATO ACT program in Norfolk, VA, with opportunities for both onsite and remote work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build containerized application tools using 12-Factor App methodology, TDD, and XP.
  • Develop products with an agile team including Product Managers and Designers.
  • Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Create full-stack solutions using modern JavaScript, Python, and/or Java frameworks.
  • Perform both front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Django/Flask, SpringBoot) development.
  • Conduct database design and programming using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Deploy containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Collaborate in pair programming and agile team environments.
  • Support the creation of sustainable DevSecOps pipelines.

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 4 years experience in full-stack development with JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Extensive front-end and/or back-end development experience.
  • Proven database design and programming skills.
  • Experience with REST API design and Test Driven Development.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and container platforms.
  • Ability to work in agile, DevSecOps environments.
