As a Senior Staff Product Solutions Developer on the Financial Institutions team, you work on financial performance management software, enabling institutions to optimize their planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
You will join a scrum team following an agile process and manage development tasks throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with product owners and customers to understand requirements and leverage your domain knowledge to design, write, and debug Excel-based functionality and BI reports. You will partner with software developers to integrate Excel-based features with web applications.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate solution development.
- Perform system maintenance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and defect correction.
- Focus on performance tuning while balancing usability and automation.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in financial planning and analysis in financial institutions.
- 5+ years with Microsoft Excel, SQL, database concepts, and BI tools.
- Strong communication skills to work across all team levels.
- Leadership in projects, technical best practices, or process initiatives.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary range: $111,000 - $138,000. Actual salary is determined by skills and experience. Strata offers discretionary variable pay programs along with a comprehensive benefits package.
How We Work
The preferred locations for this role are Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. Strata supports a hybrid work environment, offering the flexibility to work from home while enjoying in-person collaboration on campus.
