About The Role

A mission-driven global leader in independent engineering for the renewable energy industry is hiring a Senior Engineer/Analyst for their Performance Engineering team in the Solar Advisory group. The Solar Performance Engineer will focus on the design and development phase of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality solar resource assessments and energy estimates
  • Compile, validate, and analyze meteorological data
  • Estimate plant losses and calculate assessment uncertainties
  • Evaluate project constraints and risks
  • Generate energy production estimates and create client reports
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively with clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Approximately 8 years of experience in solar energy engineering/analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting technical results to customers
  • Detail-oriented approach
