Senior Systems Engineer

This role is designed for senior team members who will be trained for an exciting role in a fast-paced financial company with rapid promotion opportunities and community service benefits.
Remote Work Flexibility
This position offers hybrid remote work flexibility within Maine (minimum 2 in-office days per week). Fully remote work opportunities are available for residents of FL, GA, IN, IO, KY, ME, MI, MO, NH, NJ, NC, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, WI.
Position Overview
- Research, design, planning, implementation, and management of cloud technologies.
- Administration of infrastructure systems for 24/7 optimal availability.
- Managing infrastructure and security projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Vendor contract management and performance measurement.
- Collaboration with IT teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Disaster recovery management and execution of business-continuity protocols.
- Documentation of procedures and creation of workflow diagrams.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years in network, systems, or IT roles.
- Proven experience in technology project execution and management.
- Intermediate experience with cloud security, networking, Linux (Red Hat), identity management, SharePoint, and log management.
- 5+ years managing cloud technologies including IaaS and PaaS.
- Strong troubleshooting, process improvement and automation skills.
- Experience in regulated or financial service industries is a plus.
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell) and familiarity with hybrid cloud management.
Education and Application Requirements
