Stokes Hodges KIA, the premier state of the art KIA Dealership in the CSRA, is seeking a detail oriented, dependable team member to join our service department as a dispatcher.

Job Summary

The Service Dispatcher plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of repair orders through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assignments for service technicians.
  • Communicate with customers to gather details and provide updates.
  • Monitor and manage service call queues for efficiency.
  • Prioritize and assign service requests based on urgency and technician availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with service technicians for support and resource provision.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Analyze service metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a dispatch or customer service role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical ability: lift, stand, stoop, kneel, bend
  • Valid Driver’s license with a clean record
