Stokes Hodges KIA, the premier state of the art KIA Dealership in the CSRA, is seeking a detail oriented, dependable team member to join our service department as a dispatcher.
Job Summary
The Service Dispatcher plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of repair orders through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate assignments for service technicians.
- Communicate with customers to gather details and provide updates.
- Monitor and manage service call queues for efficiency.
- Prioritize and assign service requests based on urgency and technician availability.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with service technicians for support and resource provision.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Analyze service metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in a dispatch or customer service role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability: lift, stand, stoop, kneel, bend
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean record
