About The Role
The Assistant Buyer, Men's Denim will support buying and planning activities for the men's team. You will aid in product selection, analysis, inventory management and vendor negotiations, ensuring a seamless buying process. Responsibilities include curating assortments, executing financial strategies, presenting plans to leadership, and analyzing market trends and client feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies for men's denim.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Styling, and Marketing.
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data for effective inventory management.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms for optimal product quality.
- Support budget management and purchase order coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in men's buying or merchandising.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, particularly denim.
- Strong analytical skills and retail math proficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25-30% as required.
