About the role
Crash Data Management Specialist
STI is seeking a Technical Specialist for their ODOT Transportation Data Section. The primary tasks involve architecting and implementing logical structures for software systems and databases, meeting with stakeholders to understand their needs, leading design exploration and updates to existing Crash applications, analyzing and integrating new technologies, troubleshooting system issues, providing task estimates, and managing multiple concurrent assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement logical structures for software systems and databases.
- Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure correct information collection.
- Lead design exploration and updates for existing Crash applications.
- Analyze and integrate new technologies into the existing portfolio.
- Troubleshoot reported system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Provide estimates for assigned tasks and communicate progress.
- Manage multiple task assignments concurrently and prioritize work.
- Develop software code changes using web-based technologies, client/server, and SQL-based technologies.
Required Qualifications
