About the Role

StepStone is seeking motivated undergraduates graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 to join the SIRA team as Co-op Analysts. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain insights into private equity, working full-time in the NYC office from January 2026 through June 2026 (with a possibility of extension to August 2026).

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and analysis on co-investments, primary, and secondary transactions.
  • Perform financial modeling and analytical tasks such as modifications of models, DCF analyses, and financial statement evaluations.
  • Develop and present investment recommendations to SIRA’s Investment Committee using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers and perform valuation analyses on private companies or assets.
  • Conduct market research to identify, quantify, and analyze trends across various sectors including transportation, telecommunications, utilities, energy, logistics, renewables, social projects, sustainability, and impact investing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Undergraduate student graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Ability to work full-time in the NYC office for six months from January 2026 to June 2026.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Due diligence on investment opportunities in infrastructure, agriculture, and natural resources sectors.
  • Financial modeling including sensitivity/scenario analyses and valuation bridges.
  • Presentation of investment recommendations for the Investment Committee.
  • Conduct valuation and market research using public and proprietary databases.
