Stellar AI is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to create data for training AI agents in web development projects. The role involves working with Python, React, and TypeScript in a flexible, project-based environment.

This is an open-ended contract opportunity with no set schedules or minimum time commitments. Contributors choose which projects to work on, when they work, and how much they contribute.
Guaranteed Hours Option
For those looking for stability, there is a Guaranteed Hours option where at least 20 hours per week are guaranteed over a 6-month period.
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $35 to $70 per hour upon passing the qualification. There is an option to move to the 20-hour per week Guaranteed Hours contract.
Responsibilities
- Teach AI agents how to develop web applications
- Implement web features ensuring correctness and edge cases
- Write clear documentation of findings and rationale
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Up to 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, including internships and personal projects
- Familiarity with at least one programming language
- Eagerness to learn and grow technically
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to ask insightful questions and incorporate feedback
