Supplier Quality Engineer - Body Exterior

Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer position in the Body Exterior, Sealing and Vision Systems organization at Stellantis involves ensuring the quality and reliability of components such as molded fascias, front-end modules, plastic liftgate assemblies, fuel filler/charge port doors, and more. This role requires direct engagement with suppliers and production assembly plants, contributing to the entire component lifecycle from development to ongoing production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers.
• Provide on-site support at Stellantis assembly plants.
• Engage in early development, sourcing, launch, and production.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce warranty costs.
• Work with global teams across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

Basic: Bachelor’s in Engineering (ABET), 5+ years in Quality/Engineering/Manufacturing, travel ability (20-30%), proficiency in Microsoft Office, self-motivated with strong communication.

Preferred: Problem-solving skills (Green/Black Belt), experience with injection molding, compression molding, extrusions or sealing, conflict resolution, effective written and verbal communication.
