Job Description

Customer Order Management Specialist

Stefanini Group is hiring a Customer Order Management Specialist in Research Triangle Park, NC. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

About the Role

This position will manage customer service through the order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for overseeing the full order fulfillment cycle, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving complex customer issues. You will also support seasonal sales plans, provide accurate reporting, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders and oversee the full order fulfillment process.
  • Address customer inquiries related to product availability, order status, substitutions, and shipping.
  • Negotiate acceptance of seed supply, including in field supply management and substitution recommendations.
  • Resolve complex customer issues while building strong retail customer relationships.
  • Support and execute seasonal sales plans at customer and regional levels.
  • Provide accurate reporting and leverage data to support sales execution and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate regularly with customers and internal commercial teams to review performance and adjust execution plans.
  • Work cross functionally with planning, sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Interaction with multiple internal departments and external customer organizations.
  • Management of multiple systems, processes, and priorities in a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

  • A certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a business, customer service, or order management role.
  • Working knowledge of the Order to Cash process.
  • SAP experience required (S4 Hana preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including V-lookups.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to handle multiple Microsoft platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work across multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities.

Work Arrangement

This is a HYBRID role. Employees are expected to be onsite 3 days per week and can work remotely for 2 days per week.

Timings

8 AM to 5 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
