The Role: Document Compliance Intern
The Document Compliance Intern will be a key contributor, reporting directly to the Vice President Project Management. This is a paid, full-time internship offering invaluable professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute a comprehensive document organization project spanning the entire company.
- Analyze data using Excel to identify documents that require updating or can be securely discarded.
- Effectively guide and oversee other interns on this project, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate proactive initiative and a strong desire to drive positive change and inspire team motivation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, IT, or Liberal Arts.
- Comfortable with 50-70% travel to various Iron Mountain Facilities.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to navigate and collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.
- Experience with Excel automation is a significant advantage.
- Exhibit a dynamic, outgoing personality coupled with a very positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent support.
- Ability to effectively interact with all departments and levels, both internally and externally.
- Capable of working with an appropriate sense of urgency and demonstrating a strong drive for results.
- Highly self-motivated, persistent, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands effectively.
- Proficient in standard computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
