Stealth — Secure Systems is a B2B startup dedicated to building high-performance desktop software for regulated industries. We are actively seeking a hands-on engineer with profound expertise in local LLM inference, Rust/C++, and secure offline architectures. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with quantized models, CPU/GPU optimization, and edge deployment. Your role will involve rapidly building MVPs and thinking end-to-end to deliver robust solutions. While the role is open, an EU-based candidate is preferred.

What you'll do

• Architect secure, offline, multimodal systems
• Optimize local LLMs for constrained CPU/GPU environments
• Build high-performance desktop applications using technologies like Tauri/Electron/Rust
• Ship functional Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in weeks, not months

What we look for

• A strong builder mindset, with an obsession for privacy and performance
• Proven experience with local LLMs and models such as Mistral, LLaMA, Whisper.cpp, and embeddings
• Note: This role is not suitable for pure data scientists or generic web developers
