Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand the government and public sector client base.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Academia & Government to drive brand equity and meet sales goals in US and Canadian government sectors.
  • Build relationships with existing and prospective clients for renewals and expansion.
  • Manage extended sales cycles, including procurement processes and legal negotiations.
  • Act as liaison among the sales team, customers, and internal departments.
  • Consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Become an expert on Statista’s platform and research offerings.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years full sales-cycle experience, with 1+ year in US Federal Government sales preferred.
  • Superior sales and business acumen.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with SaaS or subscription-based sales; federal contract experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and prospecting tools.
  • High energy and commitment to exceeding sales quotas.
