Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the government and public sector client base.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Academia & Government to drive brand equity and meet sales goals in US and Canadian government sectors.
- Build relationships with existing and prospective clients for renewals and expansion.
- Manage extended sales cycles, including procurement processes and legal negotiations.
- Act as liaison among the sales team, customers, and internal departments.
- Consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Become an expert on Statista’s platform and research offerings.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum 2 years full sales-cycle experience, with 1+ year in US Federal Government sales preferred.
- Superior sales and business acumen.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with SaaS or subscription-based sales; federal contract experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and prospecting tools.
- High energy and commitment to exceeding sales quotas.
