About the role
Role Summary & Role Description
This position is a Quality Assurance engineer position in our Corporate Systems groups. This candidate would be responsible for the test planning, design, and manual/automated test execution of the test cases in the Regulatory reporting applications. The position will require close collaboration with our Reg reporting development teams and business leads across the globe. We are looking for a QA with strong hands-on experience on ETL, SQL and automation tools who can automate the regression test cases. Good understanding of the SDLC process, JIRA and defect life cycles.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Masters in Computer Science or related background.
- Minimum of 5-10 years IT background or related work experience.
- SQL Skills – Writing complex SQL queries using joins and various built-in functions, able to understand stored procedures, triggers and views.
- Strong experience in Axiom and ETL tool.
- Securities domain and Reg. Reporting applications knowledge (advantage).
- Knowledge of the SDLC/Agile/Waterfall/QA Process.
- Good communication skills (able to articulate the scenarios and deliverables, communicate with all levels of management).
- Flexible in working hours – Dynamic, able to adapt to change and schedules.
- Experience with test automation tools (i.e. Tricentis Tosca, Neoload, etc) is strongly preferred.
- Test Management Tools (i.e. JIRA, RTC).
- Knowledge of software development and testing life cycle (Agile/Kanban/Waterfall and Agile Methodology).
- Ability to work closely with leads a technical team and interface with our business teams.
- Attention to detail and have the ability to manage tasks simultaneously.

- SQL Skills – Writing complex SQL queries using joins and various built-in functions, able to understand stored procedures, triggers and views.
- Proficient in JIRA for test case and defect tracking is must.
- Good experience on GitHub Go-Pilot.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
- Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development.
- Very good team player.
Good To Have Skills
- Functional knowledge of Regulatory domain is an added advantage.
- Python/Tricentis automation scripting experience.
